2001 Acquires a controlling 51% stake in Deutsche Software (DS), Deutsche Bank`s (DBK) IT services subsidiary in India
2003 HCL Technologies wins a US$160m contract for BPO service operations from BT. HCLT sets up an exclusive centre in Noida to execute BT orders
2005 Enters into a joint venture agreement with NEC Corporation, Japan) and its subsidiary, NEC System Technologies Ltd to provide offshore led software engineering solutions to NEC, its subsidiaries and its clients in Japan and globally
